Therese Simony is a Pueblo native and proud of it. She attended Colorado State University when it was SCSC, yes she is ancient. Therese worked for KOAA 5 as a senior digital account executive, a superfluous word for sales. She has witnessed many changes in the industry over the years, especially converting from analog to digital. She is not an engineer, so she cannot explain the changes. Therese is still in awe over the fact you can turn on your television and see all forms of live entertainment and live news – she still thinks it’s magic. She also believes in Unicorns, just saying…

Although she has witnessed many advances in technology over the years, the basics are still the same, customer service. She feels very honored to have worked in the television industry and is extremely grateful for the friends and relationships she has forged over the years. She hopes she will be remembered as the ageless elf, (there are far worse things she can be remembered for).
Today, Therese is retired and works at real estate investing between “Game of Thrones” binging and wine tasting. She is thrilled to be recognized by Southern Colorado Press Club.
